The final of the Futsal Tournament for Employees of the U.Porto took place on the 17th of April, at the Estádio Universitário. UP Internazionale, Feupsal and CDUP-UP were the three teams on the podium.

After a tight final, which pitted Feupsal and UP Internazionale against each other, and whose result was uncertain until the last two minutes, UP International ended up winning, thus winning another edition of the University of Porto Employee Futsal Tournament, promoted by U.Porto Sports Center (CDUP-UP).

In addition to the two finalists, it fell precisely to the CDUP-UP team to climb to third place on the podium, after defeating SPUP United in the bronze medal game.

The SPUP United team won, in turn, two important distinctions: the Fair Play award, in recognition of its sportsmanship; and the award for Best Scorer of the Tournament, awarded to the player Rui Pinho.

This edition of the Futsal Tournament for Employees of the U.Porto had the participation of seven teams. There were about 80 employees of the U.Porto in total, who, over almost five months, met every Monday at the Estádio Universitário do Porto, for a healthy competition between work colleagues.
