On May 21th, the University of Porto, in partnership with Clube Nortada, will promote the 1st Ultimate Frisbee Workshop, an initiative that combines sport and team spirit.

Open to students, teachers and non-teaching staff of U.Porto, the event will take place between 16h00 and 18h30, at  University Stadium of Porto, and its main objective is to introduce this sport to the academic community. With an open training format, the workshop aims to provide a practical and dynamic experience of Ultimate Frisbee, promoting physical activity and team spirit.

Participation is free, but subject to pre-registration, which can be done until the day May 18, 2025. The activity must be carried out with a minimum number of 10 registered participants.

Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport played with a disc (frisbee), which combines elements of football, basketball and rugby. Known for its values ​​of fair play and inclusion, Ultimate is a growing sport worldwide and now also present at the University of Porto.
