Credit Card  Selection

The UP selection card is a fundamental requirement for student athletes who compete in U. Porto teams.

The card consists of a virtual registration that is associated with the U.Porto student card and has a value of €12

The card gives access to the FADEUP, ICBAS/FFUP and University Stadium weight room from Monday to Friday until 17:00 pm, as well as 45 minutes of swimming on Friday from 19:00 pm to 19:45 pm (subject to capacity and opening hours of the facilities).

To obtain the card, the student athlete must be summoned to the CNUs and bring the U. Porto student card and the CC to one of the CDUP-UP counters (Faculty of Sports, ICBAS/FFUP, Luís Falcão, University Stadium).

The card is valid only during the current sporting season.

What do I need to do to represent U. Porto at the National University Championships?

To be select by the CDUP-UP coach that is responsible for the sport in question, to register on the FADU portal (www.portalfadu.pt) and to take a sports medical examination and make the UP team card.

Do I have to pay anything to represent U. Porto?

A: The University of Porto supports the registration, transportation, food and accommodation expenses (if necessary), and the athlete only has to purchase the UP team card (XNUMX €).

What is the UP team card for?

The UP team card is the proof that you are an athlete of the University of Porto during the current sport season and a form of commitment between you and the Institution.

What do I need to do to purchase the UP team card?

The UP selection card can be purchased at any of our CDUP-UP branches (Faculty of Sports, ICBAS/FFUP, Luís Falcão, University Stadium). The selection card costs €10 and is valid for one university sports season (September–June). To obtain the selection card, you must bring your UP student ID and ID card.

What do I need to do to take part at the trainings to the National University Championships?

Simply be a U. Porto student enrolled in a study cycle (undergraduate, master's or doctorate) and show up.

I want to participate in the CNU but I consulted the site and I do not discover the training, what do I do?

I have no experience in competition, but I would like to integrate the trainings, can I?

Of course, we are happy to welcome new athletes. After the training, the coach responsible for the sport will indicate which athletes are prepared and who will be select to the competition.
